Sure. I see at least a dozen people on the "going" list who I know for a fact aren't going. And that's just from a 2 second peak.

Realistically, FB invite lists usually have fairly low turnouts. Some people say they're going to an event out of solidarity but don't end up going, esp to something like this. We shall see tho.
