About the Author
Ron Paul was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Gettysburg College and the Duke University School of Medicine, before proudly serving as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force during the 1960s. He and his wife Carol moved to Texas in 1968, where he began his medical practice in Brazoria County. As a specialist in obstetrics/gynecology, Dr. Paul has delivered more than 4,000 babies. He and Carol, who reside in Lake Jackson, Texas, are the proud parents of five children and have 17 grandchildren.
They didn't feel his tenure as U.S. Congressman, or his historical 2nd white house run is worth mentioning?
Gotta add 4 bucks to the order. I was thinking about the road to serfdom. by Hayek in Paperback
Be sure to get a new highlighter if you're going to read "The Road to Serfdom". I got to the point that I had to give up highlighting because I was highlighting whole pages, for page after page. That book will change your outlook on the world.
2 copies, preordered. i cant wait. and i have to say - what a gorgeous book cover design. its absolutely perfect.
however, the title might turn off the casual reader who might be interested in the topics Dr. Paul talks about, but sees it and thinks it to be some sort of brainwashing manual. I guess Dr. Paul wrote it for us, afterall![]()
Good idea. Instead of the pocket Constitution, to bump me over $25 I'd like some type of reference book. It'd have to include the Constitution, the Declaration, the Federalist Papers, and anything else pertinent to being well-informed about the American philosophy of governance. I'd even take a few philosophical musings that the Founding Fathers used as their references. A commentary is OK too if it is good. Any suggestions? The Revolution + Cato's Pocket Constitution ($4.95) = Free shipping
