Do you guys think the Libertarian & Constitution Parties will endorse Ron Paul for the general election? I honestly think they need to endorse him even in the primaries. I heard Ron Paul has a lifetime membership to the Libertarian Party?

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't both LP & CP in 2008 both say they would drop their candidates if Ron Paul won the GOP nomination?

Anyway, if these 3rd parties helped Ron Paul out earlier, in the primaries, he would become unstoppable. Using help from the 3rd parties, Ron Paul would have more money for his campaign. He can than more easily compete against the other candidates that are backed by corporations.

Remember its about the ideas not the party. It would certainly be worthwhile and productive for both of these parties to support Ron Paul..after all he is the most popular Libertarian in the country. He is there only hope because no libertarian/constitutionalist candidate has ever gotten this far. Infact the only other republican that is reasonable is Gary Johnson and he is clearly a ron paul supporter. I still like Ron Paul better. These other candidates are trying to 'become ron paul' as a campaign strategy..problem is NONE of them have the credentials.

Also he can appeal to them in someway I am sure because currently the system is prejudice against 3rd parties. They confine us in a 2 party paradigm. Ron Paul can try to pass some sort of legislation that is fair to all.

Also Ron Paul should put something on his site that acknowledges 3rd parties and his stance on them so we can further gain supporters.

Should RP SUPPORTERS E-mail the LP & THE CP?

PS: I realize the goal is get mostly republicans to support RP since he is in the GOP primary, however we can do both and put a SMALL effort in getting 3rd party support as SOON AS POSSIBLE. The BIGGER fight will be to get party-line GOP people to support him.

I am a libertarian to the bone marrow. I have voted for LP in '04 and in '08 (no, I don't care if it was Bob Barr, I voted for the party and the platform, not for a name). I will vote Libertarian come fall '12. But, of course, come GOP primaries I, and all of my family, will go vote for RP in hopes of him winning. Or even if not.

But, unless it's RP vs BHO come fall '12, I will, again, vote Libertarian.

Certainly will help but I think they comprise a 1% or 2% of the national voters...does anyone know exactly how many registered Libertarian voters there are? I suspect that many of them already support Paul...but every bit of help, well, helps!
