Yep, we missed the target, but not by nearly as much as I had thought we would at the beginning of the day. Hopefully, folks will continue to donate all through the night and we'll have hit it by morning. At the very least, we'll have hit that goal a day late. I know this seems awful (and I'm quite sad that we missed the goal set out by the official campaign), but think about it this way: there's been tons of controversy over even donating to this effort, people are saving up to donate on nov 5, and the campaign hardly advertised this effort at all except to put the ticker up on the website.

All things considered, I think we did "ok." Not great, but not bad.

I very highly doubt we'll get 26k overnight. I hope I'm wrong, but the past statistics don't support it. Donations drop off almost completely after 1 am eastern and don't pick back up again until 9 or 10 am. Unless there's some folks out there that are die-hard trying to hit 430k tonight (which i doubt or else they would have already donated), we'll probably have to wait until mid-day tomorrow to hit our goal. Just my 2 cents.

How do you track a dollar? However because of the past three days, it's kinda as if they never even bought the radio ads and just stopped accepting donations for three days. Not too shabby.

We will hit it tomorrow, morning is subjective depending on what part of the country you are in. regardless tomorrow we will break it.
