Im tired of the bellyaching coming from everyone on this website due to not finishing in 3rd or 4th place. Ok, so thompson came out of nowhere - and nobody expected it. However. think about it. he is at 10 percent. 3rd and 4th are at 13 percent. Get your heads out of your asses. Lets pile it on in NH and try to get up there. No more of this 'wont win the nomination' 'on it was rigged' and all this other crap. If you have this negative attitude now - yes, he will lose. RP is on an upward swing - we can pull this off people!

I agree with you. I was surprised at Thompson. But I guess all the old people watched whatever show he was on and were like "Oh yeah, it's that guy from TV!"

However, for Ron Paul to pull off around 10,000 votes is damned good, especially when it's so close to the 3rd and 4th placers at the moment.

this is a good point, 3%! like we've never seen ron paul jump 3% before. not a big deal really. and we beat rudy!

That's what I don't get. I guess maybe it's because many of us have never been through something like this before, but these are long term efforts. All campaigns have ups and downs. And get this: This isn't a 'down'.

You're all focused on how he did compared to what the pre-caucus polls predicted. Arguably he's outdone these polls, but not by as much as we'd hoped. But it's still a gain. This is how campaigns are won.

Sure, I'd love to see the pollsters and the press eating crow on this, but this is real progress and it isn't something likely to be 'undone'. Once people begin to ask the questions that Ron Paul asks, once they see that there really is another way, they just don't go back. Certainly not in the impulse, fickle way mainstream voters can turn on dime.

The movement continues to build and has the resources to see it through.
