3" of snow in Louisiana

What you didn't see is this giant knob of ice that built up on far end of the passenger wiper blade that came down to a tiny little point, which tiny little point was holding the wiper off of the windshield.

ETA like some crazy phonograph needle in ice sculpture.

LOL, happens all the time here. You have to leave the wipers running, grab it in motion and lift up slightly and pop it on the windshield.

just for record keeping.
it is snowing again. no accumulation thus far, but big cotton candy looking snow.
4th snow event in subtropics.
I'm super serial.

Mauna Kea & Mauna Loa got some overnight. Don't want to feel left out.:)

I blame the economy for this weather. It's only logical. If only Yellen could print up some carbon credits out of thin air to combat this interesting weather.

^ If anything, the people down here are spending more because of these storms.
I've seen gas stations and grocery stores sold out because people stock up before these storms.

The costs for this winter over an ordinary winter will be enormous , it will make the economy appear worse I imagine , all the extra money going into high gasoline , diesel prices .High electric , propane , Nat Gas , Heating Oil prices. That is all money that will not be spent on retail , my guess .

You just can't make this stuff up ...

"adverse weather conditions" ... "monitoring developments" ... apparently, Obama should have nominated Willard Scott for Fed chairman ...

(And is it just me, or does anyone else think "George Washington in drag" every time they see a picture of Janet Yellen... ?)

people buying things they need, not the things they want.
seems like a good thing.
energy and food sectors should be getting a huge boost equal to the loss in retail... assuming its the weather that is giving us a sluggish economy.
though, it should be neutral- as the funds are just shifting.
but the dollar is losing value- it is being stolen. that is the shift that is destroying the economy.
