If everyone in America gave just $10...

If you're tired of reading fantastic fundraising goals, then read on...

The official campaign set a $12 million Q4 goal, and it's time everyone focused on it. We're already $1 million behind on this goal, and we fall another $60K+ behind each day. If you're concerned like me, then you're probably wondering what we can do to help make the full $12,000,000 goal for Q4. I have great news! I crunched the donation numbers for Q3, and the Q4 goal looks so amazingly achievable, I almost can't believe it!

In Q3, Ron Paul raised $5 million. The average donation was $40. Dividing the two you see there were 125,000 donations in Q3. Encouraging 125,000 donations of $32 each month in Q4 will bring in $12 million!

THAT'S ONLY $8/WEEK!!!!

This is achievable because practically everyone can afford $8/week and Ron Paul already has this existing base of supporters who can help! We need to just get this message out there (even while we grow the base).

To encourage donations and spread this message, I started a "small" pledge:

http://www.pledgebank.com/8-for-rp-0ct20

"I will donate $8 to Ron Paul this week but only if 100 others will do the same."

Please join the pledge and spread the word. This message isn't about what you will donate nor bleeding you dry. This message is about what we will donate together in a planned manner. Only together can we make this happen and spread Ron Paul's message of freedom.

Thank you,

Brian

I love the $3 billion idea, but not all 300 million Americans are at least 18 (they, therefore, don't qualify to contribute).

You've got a winning idea, though.

Heh, if every American wanted to give Ron Paul money for his campaign, we wouldn't need to do any more work. Just sit back and watch him coast to the greatest election landslide in the history of Democracy. =)

I thought of that too, but raising 3 bil would be a great way of sticking it to the man. and that 3 billion would last a Ron Paul gov't all eight years. :D

I believe the Q3 average was $93 with the median around $40. Does this change the need?

yawn

fundraising is not grassroots, I think all these threads belong in another section.

IF EVERYONE IN USA donated 1 PENNY, THAT WOULD BE..........
THREE MILLION DOLLARS!

one....hundred.....billion dollars for Ron Paul.

Or we'll get out the frickin' sea bass with laser beams on their heads.

If everybody in America was willing to give $10, we wouldnt need to give him ANY money...for what purpose?

I'm down with this "over-the-top" concept for Ron Paul.

If it's truly $$ that counts, we could easily put Ron over the top of all of the republican field with minimal giving each month.

In fact, we wouldn't even max out the $2300 individual maximum doing so either.

I wonder if the campaign would work with us, as they did in Iowa, to allow us to call or email specific donors from Q3 with the novel idea of pledging a small monthly recurring amount??

This would be great, and it would ensure victory. Then all of those people who tell you that he can't win - well, you can tell them that he's guaranteed to out raise the field. You sure he won't win???

I still like the idea of raising 1 million on Nov.5th.....

(although I hate the whole Vendetta theme going on...)

But the monthly goals are infinitely more important!
