2nd Presidential election to be held in VA alongside official primary.

I watch FOX news sometimes because I seemingly have a stronger stomach than some of you, haha. At least that's the feel that chat seems to give me when I post my constant ramblings to no one in particular and they happen to come from FOX.

But, upon listening to them tonight because of the non-existent CNN ticker for the WA caucuses, they had a segment about how miserable VA is because they have to pick between Paul and Romney, and how one group is organizing in Virginia to hold a second election alongside the official primary. This group is having polling locations all over the state and that their ballots will feature all four candidates.

I don't think I need to explain how this unofficial election could easily overshadow the official one, as it could be used to show the "real opinions" of the VA voter.

The people on the ground there need to keep up the "stop Romney" meme...

I didn't even think of it like that, I'm more focused on them running away with this as a story.
I think that people who vote are either the usual voters and hopefully will know for the most part where to go,

Afraid we might pull an upset and win? Who knows, or show that we are EXTREMELY weak (like we get 15% of the vote instead of 30+% according to polls)

Elections are expensive, complicated and time consuming though...I doubt the number of polling stations will have the same reach and capacity as the official ones. Most voters are lazy...if they can't vote in a local precinct...5-10 minutes away without big lines...they probably won't vote.

If this is the case we can still cash in on the anti-Romney votes

some 33 delegates are split by way of TEN congressional districts.
THREE delegates are winner-take-all in EACH district. 3 are at large
and 13 are winner-take-all statewide. he could win something, maybe.

I wonder how clearly these alternate locations are, i.e. how easy it would be for someone to get confused.
I wouldn't have thought this could be a big issue a few months ago but after the level of confusion about WA and some of the other states with changes it seems like knowing where the actual vote is might become an issue for some voters depending on how the other sites are marketed and marked.
