It should have looked like the one before halftime with the receiver going in instead of out; instead of using the umpire, Kearse was to push his defender in front of Butler. Wilson was supposed to throw it away as soon as he saw Kearse was getting stuffed.

I agree, but it seems a lot harder to throw it away when the receiver is right in the middle surrounded by 6 or 7 defenders. It seems way easier when the receiver is close to the sideline and only 1 defender is in the area.

Let me explain "karma"....saw some tweets the other night that Dallas got "karma" because of what happened vs. Detroit.
Then Green Bay got "karma" when Seattle recovered the onside kick.
Finally, Seattle got "karma" when N.E. intercepted the ball on the one-yard line.

I kept asking "when does N.E. get their karma?"

Answer: MEASLES.

Seattle was on the 1. Wilson could have easily thrown it away in any direction without worry of it being intercepted.
