I think we should buy up as many domains as possible related to 2012, starting now, including domains that our opponents would want to use. We build attack sites and SEO them. I personally have:

JUDGENAP2012.COM
ROMNEYCARE.ORG
THEREALNEWTGINGRICH.COM

Good idea.

We need attack sites on Romney, Palin, Huckster, and Newt.

Nice nice.

Hmm...what happens though if BOTH Ron Paul and Gary Johnson decides to run? I mean, I support both of them but can you imagine the split in the libertarian base esp during money bombs and etc?

To be quite honest, I think RP has a much bigger name recog than Gary Johnson so I would prefer for Dr. Paul to be the only nominee although I would love to see GJ in the race. Hmm..

GJ can run and make Ron look less radical and more mainstream, but no one better support gary over ron.

I think it would only help us really. Gary Johnson would be the new lightning rod for attacks instead of Ron. He could run interference in a way. Plus when Gary Johnson bows out and endorses Ron it would be huge news.

it wouldn't be huge news at all, it would be expected and gary's endorsement would carry little weight.

But the key is to plan for it and be ready to pull in his supporters into Ron Paul's campaign.

Thus the garyjohnson2012.com site. From what I've seen he's pulling people who either don't know much about Ron Paul (ie one e-mail saying "I like you better than Sen. Ron Paul") or don't realize what Ron Paul stands for (another e-mail "Finally someone who's consistently for smaller government fiscally and socially").

Most of the Johnson grassroots sites are run by Ron Paul supporters. We got in early when we didn't think Ron Paul would run. If he drops out we'll have e-mails for a bunch of his supporters and we can welcome them to our grassroots.

Either way...we've moved off of topic for 2012 domains.

Gary can play an important role by making Ron look less radical and more mainstream, which is what happened with Obama.

I personally think they should both run - Ron should campaign full time in Iowa, and Gary in New Hampshire.

Gary would be a nice insurance policy. Ron is in good shape at his age, but let's face it he in in his mid 70's.
