2012 backroom deal to thwart Ron Paul comes back to haunt party in 2016

I got a form letter from Rance the other day basically saying to either send in my donation or they will assume I am leaving the party. I threw it in the trash. Might be a better way to keep people than issuing a shitty nice ultimatum.

The party will never win again without having a Liberty candidate. We won't vote for either a Republocrat OR a Demblican. The GOP screwed the pooch.

I really don't see how the crap they pulled can go against them. I mean I'll never forget it but most people, I suspect, are just going to shine it on.

Both parties pulled a phony vote that turned over who gets to pick who runs to the people that had been picking.

It is either of their choices Kang or Kodos.

We're going to have to find another way to be heard other than at the polls.

They think it wont backfire on them, but what happens when their current requirements prevent them from being able to nominate any frontrunner at all?

We cant quit at the polls. Not because they supress our voices and our votes, but because our message continues to spread.

One of the mistakes people make is saying its only about Ron Paul and it isnt. It is about the message that he carries. Freedom. Liberty. Balance. Representation. Fairness. Equality. Accountability. Responsibility. Cooperation. If we stop carrying these messages, then we are no better than the corrupt that we are so opposed to. If we put guns to peoples heads and told them to vote for Ron Paul, I would stop supporting the movement. Why? Because its exactly what they are doing.

We win by continuing to fight on EVERY front. We lead by example. Others may not listen to our words, but when they see us standing by our principles that we say we uphold, we draw in more and more that decide for themselves who they want to support. When they see Free Market principles fixing problems instead of Govt intervention, more people take notice of Free Market. But we have to continue to do this on every front.

The odds are against us and the deck is completely stacked. The game has been rigged in their favor. Our actual chances of success are still very low, but it is only when we stop thinking about our chance of success that we stand a real chance of winning.
