In 2008, John McCain won Washington county with 45.13% of the vote. The only county John McCain won in Maine.

John McCain Arizona Republican 51 45.13%
Mitt Romney Massachusetts Republican 40 35.40%
Mike Huckabee Arkansas Republican 8 7.08%
Ron Paul Texas Republican 8 7.08%
Uncommitted - Republican 5 4.42%
Write-ins - Republican 1 0.88%

I don't see how you'd possibly get a 200 vote spread here next week Saturday - unless a couple hundred Ron Paul supporters across New England showed up and claimed to live in the county. It is my opinion that focusing on the alleged fraud in other parts of the state might have a better chance of yielding the smoking gun that many of you seek. Thoughts?

P.S. Even so with the Democratic totals:

Barack Obama Illinois Democratic 35 63.64%
Hillary Clinton New York Democratic 20 36.36%

My thought is we get every single Ron Paul supporter in that county there. Of COURSE WE wont cheat. We will just win. And if we don't, we'll take every delegate we can get, one by one, inch by inch. We don't cede counties, we re-triple our efforts.

I wonder if Washington county is aware that Ron Paul fought NDAA and Romney said he'd have signed it? Because I plan to run that facebook ad.

That's a fair assessment, given those numbers, it's hard to argue that the results would be much different. Heck, Romney supposedly won by 9 votes and they gave him the win before he lost that same election by 30 odd votes.

but with reports of rpf members' votes not being counted, who knows how deep this runs.

I have no idea that this caucus is a silver bullet, but like Adelman's caucus, it gives us the opportunity to make a point.

Did the campaign get some kind of exit polls in Washington County? To me, that is much more valuable than 2008 data.

You could also look at it as one of the only counties not to vote for Romney... just saying.

This is bigger than Ron Paul, just got back from a meeting with a campaign rep. in Delaware, it's about Political Power, not influence. We have to get supporters of liberty elected to local elections, let them prove themselves and elevate them to state office and so on. And the only way to get there is TARGETED canvassing by way of door knocking and phone calling. Sign waving is great to get hopped up, but it doesn't translate to votes. We need to be out there smartly targeting that 3% of hard R's that can swing our way. The movement is what keeps Ron going, he's excited about the meetups and the campaign for liberty groups that are cropping up, composed of all walks of life. That is why a 76 year old man gets up everyday and fights the good fight. If you haven't been to one of these events please go. There were 4 people in the room over 50 and one that had to be 80 years old. It's not just a bunch of college kids supporting Paul. They may be the ones with ridiculousy huge signs mounted on their cars, but the message is reaching former neocons etc. Have faith people.

Look at how few turned out in Maine. That is a state where local elections can swing our way, when Goldman Sachs isn't funding the other side. We need to inflict political pain from now on whenever it's warranted and liberty....will prevail.

It's not just Washington County.

There are towns in other counties that are voting this next week, also.

For example, Rome, ME votes on Thursday, the 16th.

I was hearing about record turn out in all of Ron Paul areas. However the total number was about average. I think something smells fishy in the totals.
