2007 crew - this is your moment.

There are so many great reasons to be fight and to win.

But it is all worth it purely to get the media massively berated every day by their bosses. What they did to America in '07 was unacceptable.

Today there is haemorrhaging in the realms of darkness!

Just the beginning folks, lets get to work tomorrow, we need to push ahead of Surgtorum and the Newt in SC.

I hope you are young and willing to fight for liberty. :)

Check, and check! In the process of re-educating myself with books and the internet, my family and friends hear about as much as they can stand, dontaing and campaigning, and considering running for local/state office in the future when the time is right for me and my young family. We also have two sons (so far) who will grow up understanding the principles of freedom! Sign wavers and sign bombers in Phoenix, youtube comments, youtube video makers, and Ron Paul forums woke me up in 2007.

Seriously! It brings tears to my eyes when I think of the Ron Paul Meetup group my husband and I started while he was still in the Navy in Virginia. We had around 30 members then, that group has 277 members now. We still get emails from them, and I've gotten many emails from them when they were trying to get the required signatures to get Paul on the ballot there. It is just amazing how much this movement has grown.

I can clearly remember my "awakening" moment when I first read about Dr. Paul. I remember watching his youtube video about forming an exploratory committee to run for president, and since then things have not been the same. I never though I'd become interested, let alone involved in politics. But there I was, attending rallies, sign waving, watching debates. I still have a few slim jims, business cards and yard signs from back then, as well as a copy of the full page Iowa caucus ad signed by the man himself. It was exciting then, but is even more so now, and I am just glad that I get to be a part of it. Keep up the good work everyone!!!

"Wasn't it Kent Snyder that talked him into running in 07/08 ? If so this is his moment, well maybe that a little comes later."

It was and he planted this seed because he knew it would grow. He knew the soil fertile. It just needed a gardener.

RISKED LIBERTY AND JAIL TO THE THE MESSAGE OUT

Ya, I had a few close calls.

Once in I got caught by cops in 07 hanging RP signs on telephone poles in the middle of the night. They made me take them down (about a dozen.) Luckily, I had hit 4 other neighborhoods before that without getting caught.

They tried to to get me for driving without a license when they followed me back to my car, but I kept sayin I had a partner that drove me, he musta got scared when they seen me talkin to the fuzz lol. They hung around so long I had to call a friend to come get me lulz.

I tried to give them literature I had in my truck, but they said they weren't allowed to accept political material on duty, So I kept talkin Paul till my friend showed up to rescue me :)

Indeed there were some dark days back in 2007. I suspect there will be more that will try our souls. Thanks to all and never give up.

RIP Kent, thank You so much!

After being beat up so badly by the Republican Party and the media in the last campaign, we've finally reached a turning point. I can't thank the young people enough.

There's still a sign hanging super high on a pole that my carload hung back in 2008! I still beam with pride every time I see it.

Busted my ass for 4% last time in SC, redemption feels good.

Busted my ass right with you! Good Lord it hurt seeing the returns from Charleston. It's time to make history in SC next...

After Friday's meetings I'm heading to Charleston again.

I'd definitely like to thank everyone here who put hard work in in 2007 and 08. I used to be a huge neocon when I was younger (almost 20 right now), so I supported Giuliani and then Thompson in the 08 elections. I started to come around to Paul late in the 2008 elections, and he's grown on me ever since. I'm proud to call myself a libertarian now, and I'm happy this country seems to slowly be moving in the right direction.

I started reading Ron Paul around 2005-2006. I had no Idea what he even looked like. I just liked his ideas. When he announced his run in 2007 I submitted stories to social media websites. Later that year I drove down to south nj and saw some people standing outside with Ron Paul signs. I was like "wow a real life ron paul supporter!". I donated a few times and was amazed by the money bomb.

I am really astounded by what is going on this year. It is awesome.

As a special in-joke and badge of honor for the 2007 alumni, I wish someone would market buttons with the caption "He's catchin' on, I'm tellin' ya".
