20 million dollar warchest = 4th place finishes

MSM Blackout causing many people to think that he has dropped out = 4th place finishes.

The elite have it all controlled nicely.

The MSM is worth billions in advertising.

The sheeple live within the globalist-created zeitgeist.

Trying to figure out what we and the campaign did wrong is a lot more productive than whining about some elite conspiracy. It's not like Ron Paul is the last pro-liberty candidate that will ever run.

It is not fixed. It is just made up of a very retarded voter population. My guess is that 95% of the people that voted today didn't even bother to look up what the candidates stances' were on certain issues. Oh and if money = success, Ross Perot would have been a two term president.

Dude are you done with the negativity yet? Or is every thread you start going to be a bash fest? If so, tell me now so I can put you on my ignore list.

I think Rudy Giuliani spent about $48 million, and we beat him.

$20 million is NOT that much money for a POTUS race. RP had a few money bombs and 1 great Quarter, but that doesnt win national elections.

All the other candidates except Huck had the free media AND spent way more. Huck has a much better niche in the GOP that guarantees him votes without much money.

I didn't mean fixed as in tampered with. I changed his quote from "America" to "people". My point is that people are just stupid in general, American or not.

qft

Media blackout does not help though. We come in second in NV, LA, ME, we should have gotten a lot of more media going into super Tuesday.

The FIRST CHECK this campaign should have written was to a WORLD CLASS PR AND MEDIA company.
Until he/they write that check NOTHING will change.
As I have said over and over, people are not smart enough to get RP's message.
They have pissed the money away in shamefully poor media and television ads.
Sack them all. Bring the professionals in.
Where is Ralph Naders Genius advertising guys when you need them?
I am sick about it.

Do you know how long and how many "educational campaigns" have been run to try to "educate" people about our issues? The reality is ( whether you want to call it libertarianism, constitutionalism, old school conservatism, or whatever) most people have simply chosen big government and rejected small government and individual responsibility. One election isn't going to change that.

Speaking of Ralph Nader, he was a semi-celebrity who was well known for 30+ years and he got what 2-3%?

It's the lack of media coverage. The other candidates got a LOT more media coverage. Right now, watching the news channels If I didn't know better I would think that Ron Paul dropped out.

My grandmother who watches a lot of politics and is Republican had no idea who Ron Paul was before I told her. She kept saying I never see him on TV.

Media coverage is free advertizing. Without it you have to spend a lot more money on commercials that people normally tivo past.

6 percent of America on average is voting Ron Paul. Another recent poll said that 10 percent of America was AWARE of Ron Paul. Put those two together and you get 60 percent of people aware of Ron Paul voting for him.

For the longest time now, I see graphics on news items covering the election showing all the candidates but Ron Paul. It doesn't even matter how many candidates there are. They manage to fit them all in except for Paul.

When I hear the commentators talk, they specify the number of candidates in the Race as whatever the real number -1

Why do Ron Paul supporters think money can/should win an election?
I think those days are coming to an end - thanks to the internet. If voting were done on the internet, Paul wouldn't even need to raise money :-)
