The next step could be to make 1x1 debate like video's out of them. Voice over the question, put up a debate clip of Ghouliani hitting the subject and then the clip from Ron Paul. Some summary graphic to close, with an add for a grassroots project. Do another with Hillary, etc. Post topically on youtube. The aim is to trump the unfairness of the mainstream media's debte process. Media outlets might even end up drawing on them to cover that day's hot topic. Pitched as a "You Tube - You Decide"

I pushed the staff to get the videos done, and as soon as the videos were, Justine and the web team took my idea and the videos and are doing it themselves.

First - Great stuff, Thor.

Second - Would it be possible to make your demo available somewhere?

Two reasons:
One - to establish a record of who the credit for the concept goes to - always nice to recognize the all important ideas, not just the money part.

Two - to compare concepts. Was it wise to leave you out of the loop in the end? Was it a availablity, a resources issue - what?
That would offer some help in deciding where 'investments' should concentrate after the 16th - maybe not so nice, but no less important...

I agree. Not so sure about the background too much going on. People just want to see him and interviewer, nice expensensive looing pine desk, with genuine Ron Paul charm shining through relaxed conversation! This will be the ticket. People respond to Infomercials. it's non threatening, and entertaining!

Maybe for the infomercial they want an interviewer, but for the VOD, I think Dr Paul talking directly to the viewer, 1 on 1, in a personal fashion, is far more effective.

The background in the VOD app (NOT the same as the infomercial) is Justine's idea.

Cool, great concept - thanks - they have their work cut out to make that strange decision fly. Just better video won't do it...

There is a lot of untapped talent out here. Maybe the erroneous perception that if it's free advice it's somehow less valuable - don't know.
I do know that the doctor himself doesn't think that way, though.

I hope they do both approaches - different audience.

And, never mind the bugs - what bugs? - in a proof of concept, they are not important - - -
except to clients who always zero in on them, while missing the big picture

No idea. Could be... I don't know if it is a secret, or if I was told by accident, or in confidence. It was said matter of factly.

If this is very good, we should consider mailing out the DVD to anybody who wants it. Local groups can find out about public access TV. It's very cheap, and with the resources we have on the ground, we can advertise locally when it will be airing. We all know that Dr. Paul really shines when he's given time to explain his ideas. And it could be something that's almost all locally contained, which makes people feel good about what they are doing too
