Gypsy Swing Revue is a jazz ensemble that carries on the tradition of Gypsy Jazz created by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Frequent performers at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret, the music of Gypsy Swing Revue is the Swinging Jazz of the 30's and 40's plus a cross-section of songs from the modern Gypsy Jazz repertoire.
Art Compost and the Word Mechanics

Seth has put together a growing family of friends: poets, musicians, actors, singers, & dancers. Suzi Q Smith
suzqSuzi Q. is a dynamic Poet/Activist/Spoken Word Artist performing for audiences of up to 30,000 people and lighting up American stages for more than a decade. Her work has been published in numerous anthologies and literary magazines, while her name is well known in the spoken word community. She has shared stages with Les Nubians, Dead Prez, and many more, performing at colleges, universities, night clubs, coffee houses, and festivals. Her song-laden style and passionate performances have earned her a place among the best spoken word artists in the nation.

With a CD titled, "Banker's Town of Confusion," you'll find this trio cozying up to The Residents to produce a fun and folksy mix of pure Boulder talent! Their make-believe town features not only the required pick-up parkin' lot, but also the Schmeckman River Guides and Sub Shop along with the Blue Vanagon Cafe....pure fantasy and listening enjoyment!

Egg Planet bills themselves as the "unofficial band of the Green Party of Colorado." The band has been featured at a Cindy Shehan benefit at the Mercury Café and a Green Party benefit at Quixote's True Blue. Founding members Kevin Alumbaugh and Scott Zulauf are active members of the Green Party and are working to promote progressive politics and address the two-party dictatorship through their music.

These bright and witty graphic artists and musicians are known to bang on pots, pans, and anything else that happens to be laying around while they craft their politically-motivated lyrics for an increasingly disenchanted and disengaged generation of non-readers and Hulu junkies. Undaunted, GWN continues to make intelligent music and seek out higher ground.
