There would have beem no 9/11 , costly mideast wars and resulting economic, socio-political collapse that is unfolding if US had got out of UN 20 years ago.

But on the flip side and to be devil's advocate, if we got out of UN, we will not be able to support Israel fully and there is risk of being "cursed":

another valid reason to get the US the heck OUT OF the UN.

dammit, the US is the driving force behind that stupid globalist organization!!

Yes. Saddam violating UN resolutions was a major excuse we used for invading Iraq. The UN and NATO will get us into many more wars if we don't withdraw.

that's one thing i wish Ron would hammer out more. EVERY self-proclaimed conservative i know wants the US out of the UN.

and Ron is the only candidate that supports our withdrawal. i just wish he and his campaign would talk talk talk about it. i think that the people who are involved in the fight against Agenda 21 and ICLEI, those numbers are growing exponentially, would jump on board.

in fact, if there was a campaign card about the issue of national sovereignty and how our role in NATO and the UN erodes our national sovereignty, and how Ron would seek to reverse that by disengaging from them (at least the UN), i bet i could get at least 30 or so people (primary voters) on board.

This is probably the only thing I like the UN for. Sadly, the US has veto power to protect its ally master.
