I predict he will be the first black post-reconstruction governor of Georgia. And the fact that he's a small government republican will stick in the craw of the dems.

LOL. He's from Georgia. I would guess he's from a rural part (most of Georgia) as opposed to the megalopolis of greater Atlanta. Any child of any ethnicity will pick up the accent of the people around him.
