12/16 Promotion - Want $6.5 Million? We Need 65,000 Pledges for $100 on TeaParty11.com

WHY THE ORGANIZERS OF THIS MONEYBOMB ARE NOT ORGANISING ANY CHIP-INS FOR FOR SOME ADS ?

FOR EXAMPLE INFOWARS...

Turn caps off :o. I wonder if we could put an ad up on lewrockwell.com. It has 400,000 US visitors every month, and most of them presumably support Ron. Much more friendly than Alex Jones, and I trust him.

if they would see the caps better! :D

we could do both...

we must give an option to promote for the people who can´t give their time...

I changed all the 50,000 and $5 million references on the first post to 65,000 and $6.5 million to reflect the new goals. Somebody needs to update the Facebook event banner with a new image since it's now outdated.

Only 10 pledges yesterday... Was I the only one promoting it?

There's a lot of "we coulds" but never any action.

We need to get this chip-in for advertising up and running ASAP. This will be a failure without expanding the pool of donors and the most effective way to do that is to buy advertising space on LewRockwell.com and Infowars.

I was promoting on facebook...i think we should check the facebook shares rather than pledges cause most people won´t pledge...

SOME ORGANIZER REALLY NEEDS TO TAKE LEAD ON THIS!

I have already contacted Infowars several times but have not heard back. I have also contacted LewRockwell a few times as well, also have not heard back. Both were repeatedly contacted since beginning of November. So until I have more definitive info about prices and where the ads will be, I can't really setup a chip-in and ask the grassroots for money for something that might not happen.

The "we could" is generally suggestions. If enough people were interested, the idea would take off and we would make it happen.

The best advertising right now is Facebook as there are a lot of people on there who are completely unaware because they solely get their news from Facebook. The second best is probably Google Ads. Both can be targeted towards a specific demographic. Another option is mikechurch.com as it is $100 for a month.

Uh, no. Sorry, things like this never take off unless someone takes the lead. We are not the borg and this "we" can't create a ChipIn.

Send the website out in emails when greeting family and friends with Holiday cheers. Tell them to at least pass it on to other people if they don't support RP.

I'd say the majority of people don't care to give out their email address, even for Liberty...

Times have changed and fraud and spam is rampant online.

Good luck getting 65,000 pledges in a couple weeks.

I'm not even going to pledge on the site, but I will be donating.

Why is the Facebook page at the very bottom of the site? And why isn't it an Event instead of a Page?

You need to understand that most people don't want to Like some random page (myself included). At least using the Event page you can invite tons and tons of people.

In my opinion, Facebook, even though I hate it, is the best way to organize people.

I agree totally. Facebook and social media has changed a lot in the last 3 years or so.
