12/16 Daily Gallup Tracking Poll

They update every day Friday, Saturday and Sunday included.

They don't make their phone calls as late as the post debate. The debate started at 9pm on the East coast, 8pm Iowa time...they may have gotten some calls in during the debate and MAYBE post debate on the West Coast, but not anywhere else. They aren't going to call anybody at 11pm or 10pm or probably be 9pm when the debate is ending.

It will start to come up tomorrow.

They were all lying last night:

So I was thinking, why would Iran want to wipe Israel off the map when their own certain destruction would be immediate? I started doing research on the Ahmadinejad statement in question.

So what did Ahmadinejad actually say? To quote his exact words in Farsi: “Emam ghoft in rezhim-e eshghalgar-e Qods bayad az safheh-ye rozgar mahv shavad.”

That passage will mean nothing to most people, but one word might... ring a bell: rezhim-e. It is the word “Regime,” pronounced just like the English word with an extra “eh” sound at the end. Ahmadinejad did not refer to Israel the country or Israel the land mass, but the Israeli regime. This is a vastly significant distinction, as one cannot wipe a regime off the map. Ahmadinejad does not even refer to Israel by name, he instead uses the specific phrase “rezhim-e eshghalgar-e Qods” (regime occupying Jerusalem).

So this raises the question: what exactly did he want “wiped from the map”? The answer is: nothing. That's because the word “map” was never used. The Persian word for map, “nagsheh,” is not contained anywhere in his original-Farsi quote, or, for that matter, anywhere in his entire speech. Nor was the western phrase “wipe out” ever said. Yet we are led to believe that Iran's President threatened to “wipe Israel off the map,” despite never having uttered the words “map,” “wipe out” or even “Israel.”

So, Iran actually wants Palestine returned to the Palestinians. All Arab countries want the same thing. What makes Iran different? The only thing I can come up with is that Ahmadinejad is not afraid to speak on camera about this issue. Make no mistake about it, this man is NOT dumb like they portray him to be. Being a smart individual, he knows that destroying Israel with a nuke would render it useless to the Palestinians.

HERE'S THE REPORT! BACHMANN WAS LYING; PAUL WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!!! Confirms my opinion that he is the ONLY candidate who speaks the truth. I just cannot believe a word the rest have to say.

If you go back to the youtube of the exchange Ron tries to say that about the translation, and they kept interrupting him. He mentioned 'regime' even.

I know...they, especially Bachmann, wouldn't let him talk!!! It was one of the most disgusting interludes I've seen so far in a debate.

Check the actual IAEA report site I posted. They NEVER SAID A WORD about a nuclear weapon in Iran being within a few months of being developed!!!!!!!!!!!! Bachman was SCREAMING HER LIES!

Editorial note: Gallup will not publish new Gallup Daily tracking results on Friday, Dec. 16. The next update will be Saturday, Dec. 17.

They added that note to their website. It could have to do with the debate, maybe they had problems with the polling? My guess is they didn't want to contact anybody while the debate was ongoing, then again they did it for the ABC debate, so I have no idea what gives. But I doubt there is any type of conspiracy.

Ya see that's where you might be wrong. No offense though. I'm not prone to conspiracy theories myself but the way they have been treating Ron I wouldn't leave it off the table.

And it smells a bit fishy.

Is there a 30-day polling window for GOP national primary poll? How can we be sure that any GOP primary national polls are accurately rated and scrutinized?

It appears they have Romney and Gingrich's new numbers up, but when you click on it it takes you back to the old results.

So far

Gingrich -1 (28)
Romney +0 (24)

Looks like

Newt 28 (-1)
Romney 24
Paul 10
Bachmann 8 (+1)

I would've thought there was more movement.
