11 Year Old Ron Paul Supporter Says CNN is "Full of Crap"

Understandable. Me, too. However, truth is truth!

I'm not saying she can't think for herself, but I am saying that. She's 11 years old. She shouldn't even be thinking about politics, she should be enjoying her childhood.

In other words, children are supposed to be ill-informed and ill-educated?

Children have as much a love of knowledge as anybody else. Most children of any level of intelligence tend to become very fascinated by certain subjects and become compendiums of knowledge about them, be it dinosaurs, computer games, or anything else. Why can't it be politics for some?

I got my friends into AJ and they went to the extreme, their kids are quite younger than this girl and alot more "radical". So scripted or not, i'msure she 100% sincere.

It's possible. I might have said that kind of thing at close to that age, especially had I been raised in a more political household. (As it was my mom is center-left, my dad is center-right, and my brother is apolitical.) I was starting to put together from my own experience an understanding, rather than just an emotional revulsion, of how corrupt and, more important, factually wrong authority could be by that point -- one of the few things I learned in elementary school.

Can't complain about parents scripting this stuff. Better than gay parents sending their kids to bachmann to complain about her homophobia. That's when I seriously doubt their parenting techniques. Fight your own battles.

11 seems young, but I remember at that age reading MAD Magazine which is filled with political gags and innuendo. I was reading TIME and the newspaper when I was 13.

Maybe she is scripted, but I don't think it's implausible that someone at that age can become politcally aware.
