We secured one out of three national delegates and the first national alternate slot in Texas Senatorial District XX. I thought you all might like to know. The first national delegate slot was lost by 1 vote. One of our guys walked in a couple minutes late and was not able to vote. Let me know if anyone wants more details :)

Races of Ron Paul delegates versus Romney delegates were decided by a handful of votes over and over again in our TX CD caucus. One liberty alternate would have lost if even one Ron Paul supporter had not been there.

Believe me, the meaning of being "on the cusp of victory" has never been so clear. The mantra to all would be Ron Paul supporters should be "Show up!!!"

Same with CD XX (btw, I used to work for the delegate from CD XX - great guy). The whole process was really eye opening. I'm definately resolving to become way more involved.

This is why the Negative Comments from us about Dr. Paul do nothing but hurt the Campaign as a whole. It destroys the motivation of others. Stay positive. Stay focused!

good question. it would be nice to know, overall, who these delegates are, in greater detail than ron paul or not ron paul

All Romney. We also won SREC member and a guy on the nomination committee for delegates at large. Texas made it to where you had to be over 30 to be an at large delegate randomly.

Where did you get the info on having to be over 30 to be an at large delegate? There is an 18yo that was picked. Not sure if he is a delegate or alternate but he was at large.

I'd like to see the rule that says that.
