  • Boots is in th states illegally too, I believe you need a permit to import monkeys. I doubt Dora bothered to get one.

    Reported.
    Dora is an illegal immigrant.

But you're a very cute monkey. I didn't know you spoke Spanish so well!
I think you're an atheist evolutionist MONKEY! You know the secret, better way of opening bananas.
You must be a closet atheist if you don't believe the banana is made perfectly for the human hand.
I cannot believe it took me this long to realize you were talking about wood and balls with HB! I would have made a couple snide remarks, but it's too late now :(
Wanna see something hilarious? Look at the shit JuicyG was talking about me on the last few pages of this thread.
You're most welcome! I bet you'll notice the difference immediately when you start driving with the elbows on the "pulling" type of exercises. (I did) I had to look up "kipping" because I've never heard of it before. :o It looks like bad form to me, but I'm sure it's good as a variation on standard pull ups and apparently a lot of people on the webbernets prefer them.
I'll tell ya how I got into good pull-ups. I started with the kind that fit over a doorway. It's easier and more secure-feeling than the high bars. Nowadays I like to try the high pull-up bars at the gym, which I have to extend my full body length to reach. I can only get a few reps on those successively, but I'm getting better. :) Also, my gym has this machine which forces the user to reach up, grab the handles, and pull down (in a seated position). I dunno the name of that machine, sorry. :o The resistance is variable. btw, when you do any sort of "pulling" exercise, drive with the elbows to get the best results and minimize exhaustion.
oh hey-I recently upped my protein intake to 2 protein shakes a day (between meals). Do you use anything special to help add bulk besides protein supplements?
Yeah, that's what I like to do-work opposing muscles is the most effective method I've found. I haven't gotten into cardio yet, but I have a breathing method when lifting that keeps my heart rate up and oxygen getting into the blood. Have you tried a balance board? My trainer got me kinda hooked on these things. It's basically a big board about 15x40" with a 2x4 in the center underneath. The point is to try and stay balanced on it, which subtly works the balancers in you lower body. Don't do it too much-it could drive you crazy, lolz. :D I looked into the p90x you mentioned, and from a cursory look, it seems to be basically what my trainer has me doing. :)
A full-body workout to me means working every muscle group. And yes, I don't do the same routine every time I hit the gym. I might start on biceps and work from there one day and start with legpress the next workout and work in a whole different order. I also like to do variations on exercises, like doing pushups with a bosu ball.
dooood! In order to upgrade, I have to use paypal. I went to sign up for paypal, but they reject my Visa for no particular reason. What do I do?!!!11!
Some guys are so shallow and superficial and cannot go beyond the looks. Kind of reminds me of the Barbie Dolls the networks have reading the news!
