  • lol, i got a great -rep from St. MelissaWV:

"You are a misogynistic moron. I know this won't make a dent, but truth is truth."
Its also funny that when someone mentioned finances. You mentioned that your actually the one who takes care of your families finances because your good at that stuff. Again it points to a christ centered marriage , where you hubby is comfortable and knows that his wife is an asset in his life and not a liability. Its really nice to know such marriages still exist.
I agree about the Christ centered marriage. THe truth is that when we try to follow God in life our outlooks change. I know that iv lived a life where i was a name sake christian for a very long time. THen i searched for God and found peace in life. Then i allowed life to get in the way of living a life for Christ. And surprise surprise my life turned into a life of sadness, depression, distrust and anger. Thankfully i tried to rededicate myself to living a life in relationship with God and have found peace again. Point being that i know what it means to feel angry all the time and hate people because you yourself are not happy in life. But when a man walks with Christ and picks up their cross everyday, the outlook on life does chance. The peace and love of God does indeed start to flow in us. So my hope is that if one day i am to marry , that ill be able to love my wife like a Godly man should. Like you said we arent perfect, but we can take each day as a challange to live like Jesus.
Yeah, to be honest juicyg's comments would make more sense if he was "an abused woman". In that case atleast i could accept that past experiences have damaged his trust in marriage and men. But considering hes a guy and never been married. The only conclusion would be that he dosnt trust his own humanity and morality in a marriage. As if he thinks that men simply cant help but abuse women if they are in a position of leadership ie of the family. I say that because when i look at myself as a man and as a christian, physical or emotional abuse is the last thing that would ever come to my mind, when thinking about marriage. I mean its simply not an issue that i would think about regardless of if my future wife worked or not. But i dont buy what juicyg is sellin lol.
Sanctimonious. Good word!! Like some of these self-righteous, sanctimonious, acrimonious, narcissistic people in this forum. :)
Thanks! Her dad has developed cancer recently :( , which makes things a bit harder, but I support her 110%. I feel bad that I can't be with her through this. :( If you'd add her and her dad to your prayers, I'd appreciate it. I don't know her dad's name yet, but her name is Audrey.
She's in the next state over at the moment, so can't get her a gift. :( (we only met in recent weeks, and I didn't get her mailing address in time for v-day) I sent her romantic poetry and love letters, though. :) Pretty crazy situation (I seem to find myself in weird situations often), but hopefully it'll work out. :o
Interesting take. It seems to me that a bit of public humiliation solidifies the lesson better than just taking away privileges (which had already been tried and failed). Hannah was certainly of the age of reason, and could comprehend everything going on and knew she was doing wrong. I'm not sure how it could be a sin. What do you mean by that?
Wanna lol? ClayTrainor called me a "statist" because I support that fellow Tommy Jordan who shot his bratty daughter's computer. LOLZ!!! :D He considers it "child abuse" and that the girl will now be inclined toward statism.
hey, I finished my workout early today, so wound up doing 2.5 full-body workouts. :) New record, w00t! :D Less down-time between exercises, too. Did some jogging this morning for a bit of cardio (jogging is considered cardio, as I understand) too. Talk at ya again later.
Why? That's a whole routine rather than a cool-down or warm-up. Kinda defeats the purpose. I would do the video routine on my gym days off.
Yes they are! Trader Joe's makes smoothies that have about a zillion fruits and veggies, including bananas. :)
