Try to keep this in perspective. Dr. Paul did NOT campaign in Michigan. Mitt, McCain and Huckabee all were very busy campaigning here. Most of the UP people don't even know who Dr. Paul is. ALL of these votes for Dr. Paul were strictly grassroots generated. I think 4th is respectable.

The southwestern part of the UP is central time. I don't think they can report totals until all of the polls close. That being said, a lot of totals should go up fast with the head start.

Actually, part of Michigan is in the central time zone (southwestern part of the UP). If they can't announce numbers until all of the polls are closed, it won't be until 9:00 eastern.

Me, too! My neighbor stopped in and had a cup of coffee. He is 65 and has never voted for anyone who isn't a democrat. He left here to go pick up his wife to go vote for Dr. Paul. He is very mad at the DNC for disenfranchising him. I tried months ago to get him, but he was no way going to vote...

One more and more coming after they get off work. Nobody at the polls except workers. Snowing and the roads are not plowed yet here. Took a ride to another town and went by the polling place and there were only 4 cars there. Probably workers, as they were snow covered.

Haha! I just sent it to my BIL. He and I have been going back and forth all summer and this might convince him to vote RP tomorrow better than I ever could.

Also, who cares if RP isn't going to be there? To top it off, that is A-OK for those people who live close enough to go. It is a BIG state and IF we are doing our job tomorrow getting out the vote, there are a lot of us who couldn't make the "party" even if we wanted to.
