So, seriously, has nobody yet rubbed sand in the faces of....

My feeling is that the political career of Gary is over. He probably will work for a cannabis company again. He's a good spokesperson for legalising marijuana. By the way, he would be 68 in 4 years. Not gonna work. Austin Petersen could be a great candidate in 2020.

Gary was a mediocre candidate at best. Weld, however, turned out to be a sell-out. With a stronger ticket the LP could have garnered 5% of the votes, but I wouldn't know who would have a done a better job who actually wanted to be on the LP ticket. I do actually fault their campaign strategy...

Gary Johnson reaches 25% in NM, 23% in Utah, 19% in Alaska, 19% in SD, 17% Kansas...

Interesting. Even if Gary is not included in the debates, if he dedicates all his resources and time to campaigning in just 3 or 4 states, he could win them.

[Evan McMullin] Anti-Trump Republican Launching Independent Presidential Bid

How are they going to put his guy on the ballot in all 50 states?

Libertarian Candidates Expose Themselves as Anti-Trump Shills for Hillary Clinton

Gary is much more a libertarian, overall, than the Donald. Fact.

Did Gary Johnson Throw out AP's pistol?

Haha ok. But then who do you like?

Did Gary Johnson Throw out AP's pistol?

There are differences between Gary and Austin, but I don't see a big difference. I get it why Austin endorsed Gary, because Austin probably wants to run again in 2020, but then with a war chest and automatic ballot access, assuming Gary won't run again (which I think he won't). Could be a...

Johnson's running mate, Weld, is CFR scum

The Constitution Party is authoritarian, under the banner of 'religious freedom'. Sounds like a party that will do well in Iran. No thanks.

Did Gary Johnson Throw out AP's pistol?

If Gary Johnson does well, the LP will get matching funds and automatic ballot access in all 50 states. That's huge. So then, in 2020, the delegates are free to elect a purer Libertarian candidate, like Austin Petersen. He is only 35, so I guess he'll be around next time.

Libertarian national convention May 27–30 in Orlando (Official thread)

This would be my bet too. Johnson's VP pick will destroy him. Eventually, the delegates will probably edge more towards a pure libertarian ticket than a pragmatic ex-republican, fired up by Austin's and McAfee's hardcore supporters who will be noisy during the election process. A group of noisy...

Libertarian national convention May 27–30 in Orlando (Official thread)

Boy what a bad pick Weld is. I just watched his speech live on Periscope. Unimpressive. He's clearly a republican. Perhaps with a bit of libertarian swing to it, but no real libertarian. Not at all. The audience seemed to be unimpressed too. He's a very hard sell. He could easily lose the VP...

Gary Johnson booed at 2016 LP convention.

Gary is the favourite but if he doesn't clinch the nomination in the first round, he might end up losing. Anything can happen this weekend.

2016 Ron Paul 4 LP draft petition?

Actually he turns 81 in a few months. Yes he is fit for someone his age, but nobody is going to vote for a guy that old. Be real.

2016 Ron Paul 4 LP draft petition?

The guy is 80 folks. Let him enjoy his retirement.

    Ron Paul Libertarian 2016?

No, he is way too old. Being president is both physically and mentally a very demanding job. Too demanding for someone who is 80. Fact.
