Breaking News 4-13-12, Ron Paul just WON

Good luck in Colorado! Sounds like the Paul people and the Santorum people learned some lessons from North Dakota. Here's hoping they can continue to work together and thwart the establishment tomorrow!

Brian Kalk? ND-AL US House of Reps seat

Kalk put out a press release expressing disapproval of the aid package to Egypt. He hit both the liberty and the tea party supporters with his reasoning, but basically it was "we're broke and we'd probably be funding a government that isn't friendly to us." Like I've said before, he's not a...

Mike Peterson -- ND District 42

http://www.peterson42.com Peterson hails from the most pro-liberty delegation to the NDGOP Convention. He has to defeat a college-aged establishment Republican in the June primary in order to run in the general election against a far left incumbent. They are both going to be tough races and he...

What if giving up on this effort would mean giving up on our nation?

Gotta pick one the U.S. doesn't care about, already gets what they want from, or powerful enough to deter them.

What if giving up on this effort would mean giving up on our nation?

It's an important question. I've thought about where I would go if living here no longer was attractive.

Brian Kalk -- remember this name. One last takeaway from North Dakota

I find it sad that you're willing to throw away your principles because you're butthurt that you didn't get nominated to be a delegate. The whole point of what we're trying to do at the convention is break down the paradigm of being able to buy delegate slots with campaign contributions. And...

Brian Kalk -- remember this name. One last takeaway from North Dakota

Well after you called me or at least implied I am a "good little neocon", did you expect me to be nice? Obviously you were left off the slate because the people running the show felt the slate was better with other people on it. Maybe they felt like people had reasons to not vote for you. I...

Brian Kalk -- remember this name. One last takeaway from North Dakota

Yeah, it's obvious several in this thread don't know the process in ND at all. Which is fine, I don't know the process in other states...but I also don't pretend to.

Brian Kalk -- remember this name. One last takeaway from North Dakota

Obviously the people making the slate didn't think you were likely to get enough votes to throw support behind. Given the way you conduct yourself here, I can't say I'm surprised.

Brian Kalk -- remember this name. One last takeaway from North Dakota

That's not very likely, and if he does lose it will certainly be to a more liberal and less liberty-minded candidate. There is a libertarian in the general election, but I've really not seen much of anything of him so far, so he doesn't seem to be a very likely winner. I'm pretty disappointed...
