I asked a few (unbiased) family and friends what they thought of this ad. "It's pretty cool, no?" The reaction every time was basically "Eh," glancing at it and then walking away, "I like the ad on your desktop better..." (the Ames ad).

Yeah please consider revising the Ames ad. It definitely says everything, and could work in black & white.

I second the thoughts of scottymac, castor, syborius, RonPaulStreetTeam and others. For the money being invested in this by llepard, we would be better off going with the Iowa ad which was genius, or else let professionals collaborate on this. There is not a lot of time.

The bottom of the ad looks very good, less cluttered. I also agree with others to scale down the images of the Founders, and enlarge Ron Paul's image. Having "Ron Paul will..." in parenthesis looks weird to me. I think one of the dissenters on changing the add noted this is implied anyways...

I appreciate Ninja Homer's example, the way Dr. Paul's picture is equivalent in size to the others and that the Founders are facing inward and all making direct eye contact with you. That's intense and will surely draw people to read on... The ad improved based on the forums advice. Some other...
