Moss covered NC Repubs want to make it harder for college students to vote

I always did too. I was not a Delaware resident, and did not feel I should be voting somewhere that I didn't own any property. My car was registered in New Jersey, and I lived in New Jersey. My summer jobs were in New Jersey. The little bit I made in Delaware during the school year was not...

Moss covered NC Repubs want to make it harder for college students to vote

It's not the DUI that's the issue. Drive drunk, get caught, yes, by all means enforce a law, BUT... It's making DUIs out of .04 BACs, the unconstitutional checkpoints, the so called "implied consent" rules, and so on and so on. It becomes a racket.

Moss covered NC Repubs want to make it harder for college students to vote

Actually, this is intended to keep college students from voting TWICE. Because our Board of Elections is so damn incompetent, it's very easy to be registered in more than one place at the same time. The easier solutions are not counting provisional ballots as actual votes, and allowing a full...

New York police sued for pepper-spraying 5-month-old baby

I'm trying to figure out WHY the cops would do something like that. What kind of sick fuck would pepper spray a 5 month old? My point was that what I saw was cops TELLING the kids to avoid using the turnstiles. Cops sound like they need to be pepper sprayed themselves.

Nelson, GA citizens required to own gun & ammo!

Doesn't Kennesaw have something like a <1% crime rate?

New York police sued for pepper-spraying 5-month-old baby

I don't get this at all. When we visited NYC at Christmas, my four year old was told by a MTA cop to go UNDER the turnstile, and helped watch her as me and my wife swiped the card to go through. Cop said "Merry Christmas, Welcome to New York".

Man Tasered while dressed as Lady Liberty

Does anyone else see the irony in someone dressing up in a Lady Liberty costume for a TAX service? Before anyone accuses me of supporting police or tasing or overzealous authority or firing people to protect themselves, I do not agree with tasing this guy, and agree with what was stated above...

BEWARE: "Shoulder Tap" Entrapment Operations at the Liquor Store

If a person under the age of 18 cannot legally enter into a contract, does that make any offer null and void?

School Bans Even Secular Easter Images; Doesn’t Want To Offend Anyone

I would not be at all surprised if "Christmas" is changed to the fourth Friday of December and called "National Gift Giving Day". The Christmas "holiday" season is supposed to last from Dec. 24 through January 6th, and New Year's is supposed to be part of it. Seems like now, Christmas...

Albany Police: SWAT Used Poor Black Neighborhood For Training Because It’s ‘Realistic’

Ummm. Not the same. Not even CLOSE to the same. Sure, I don't disagree that blacks commit more crimes, but that does not give the police the go-ahead to basically raid a neighborhood parimilitary style for "training".

Interesting tweet on LA City Mayor race

It was the last time there was any degree of freedom in this country, Clinton nonwithstanding. A fake economy will do that.

Grand Jury rejects criminal charges against cops

I have a hard time believing that the grand jury wasn't "intimidated" in some manner.

Atlanta Security Guard At it Again!

So, you'd let people deal drugs on your property? Regardless of my opinion on whether people should be allowed to put whatever they want in their bodies, I also have a right to keep that shit off my property.
