Actually, I think the media debate about possible flaws in the Civil Rights Act was almost a victory in itself. I think you may agree many people are probably thinking about it more critically than before. Had Rand not brought this up the interesting debate would have never happened.

This is also contrary to Ron Paul's belief. He believes any printing of money by the government to pay for services cause inflation. Its creating money out of nothing. You can't get something for nothing and expect no repercussions.

Wouldn't it be useless to pass HR 1207 until we at least have a chance of being able to pass the equivalent bill in the senate? You could argue the momentum from the house bill may help. But who knows if thats enough.

Oh so a house stays on par with inflation. Where as your rent will always go up and the value of a dollar goes down. Seems like a hedge against the dollar going down in value to me as well.

If rent I would pay for an apartment is around the same as my house payment, how am i a debt slave? I am building equity in a house as opposed to just paying rent.

Taking a loan out for a house is something a reasonable person does, if they can afford it Just don't overpay for the house. You are no longer burning money on rent and you get a tax deduction.

It just takes some personal discipline and you can actually benefit from credit cards. I pay them off every month and get the cash back benefits. You end up getting a free loan for a month.

He makes one of the arguments Ron Paul makes. Use foreign aid and money spent on our empire at home. Even Ron Paul has said one of the concessions he is willing to make is increased domestic spending if there is an equal reduction in military spending.

Everyone should try not to make a judgment call until they ACTUALLY SEE IT. We all know how inaccurate the media can be and that's what you are relying on.
