It's often joked that Somalia is a "libertarian paradise," when it really isn't, since it's being taken over by Islamists and all. What foreign country do you think would be the closest to a "libertarian paradise," either by law or just de facto.
I am incredibly wary of a Constitutional Convention. More than likely it will be dominated by big-government fascists, who will only centralize power. People who truly believe in liberty will likely be in the minority.
I've actually heard this argument a number of times: that the federal government can do whatever it wants, as long as it doesn't violate the Constitution. Have these people not heard of the Tenth Amendment, or at least thought about why the fuck the framers added Article I, Section VIII?

I just found out about this documentary. It is about what would happen if the United States went isolationist, and it seems very critical of the whole idea. What do you think of it? And are there there any documentaries about non-interventionism that are either neutral or positive?
