Iowa GOP Chairman Says RP "Most Likely" Will Be in Debate

Uhhh, when the Iowa GOP cooked up this 5% rule, we all know it was aimed at Ron Paul. They were trying to exclude him. Apparently they've caught a lot of flack for it, and rightly so. I e-mailed the Iowa GOP before I found out the RP campaign had asked us not to do so. Mike Griffith

Iowa GOP Chairman Says RP "Most Likely" Will Be in Debate

In reply to an e-mail that I sent him yesterday evening, Iowa GOP Chairman Ray Hoffman ([email protected]) wrote to me a couple hour later and said that Ron Paul "will most likely be part of the debate." See below: Subj: Re: Disgraceful, Just Disgraceful Date: 11/9/2007 9:04:48 PM Eastern...

Iowa GOP Trying to Exclude Ron Paul from Next Debate

Frankly, I don't care if they're "not happy with it." They deserve to be "unhappy." They just don't want their guilty consciences pricked. They're obviously unethical people to pull something like this. I won't contact the Iowa GOP again, out of deference to the wishes of the national...

Iowa GOP Trying to Exclude Ron Paul from Next Debate

Oh, well, I just found out about this attempt at exclusion today, and I was unaware that the Ron Paul campaign has asked us not to contact the Iowa GOP. But certainly it should be ok to contact the Republican National Committee, and perhaps also Iowa's Republican Senator, Chuck Grassley, who is...

Iowa GOP Trying to Exclude Ron Paul from Next Debate

"Look worse"? According to whom? I think they deserve to hear outrage expressed. Anyway, if you don't feel like contacting the Iowa GOP, at least contact the Republican National Committee.

Iowa GOP Trying to Exclude Ron Paul from Next Debate

In case you haven't heard, the Iowa GOP has set a new requirement for taking part in the next GOP debate, which will be held in Iowa: All candidates must have been polling 5% or more in polls accepted by the Iowa GOP and Fox News. This is clearly aimed at Ron Paul. It will also excude Duncan...

I thought Paul was against government subsidation? What was this?

That's getting beyond draconian and overly rigid. Ron Paul's overall record on federal spending and subsidies is outstanding. The precious few exceptions have been just that--few. His record on fiscal matters is much better than any other candidate in the race.

Ron Paul is Right About America's Religious Heritage

Ron Paul is on solid ground in his view on America's religious heritage and the separation of church and state. For those who would like a brilliant, thoroughly documented introduction to America's godly heritage, you'll want to watch this video online: "Rediscovering God in America"...

Ron Paul: Why should those that honor religious freedom support him?

This is historical revisionism gone wild. To suggest that the founding fathers wanted a godless, secular state just because the Constitution and DOI don't contain more references or allusions to God or faith is absurd, not to mention misleading. For one thing, the poster omits the fact that...
