Actually, Obama raised more than Paul from small donors. Looking at the chart, 32% of Obama's $97.2 million = $31.1 million from small donors. 61 % of Paul's $28.0 million = $17.1 million.

Obama would be much better than McCain. That said, we will never have viable 3rd parties in this country if even the people who support them won't vote for them.

No, so we would need to keep impeaching and convicting them until we got one who would fulfill his/her duties as president. Besides, even if we don't want the successor, it is important that presidents know they will be held accountable.

Obama won't drop out. If he did, I suspect most of his supporters wouldn't vote in the remaining primaries. If Ron Paul wins the Republican nomination, or he were to run 3rd party/Independent (which he said he won't), he could probably pick up a lot of votes in the general election.

Actually, when I was listening to the speech, it sounded to me like Ron Paul may have said "we" rather than "he", though he obviously meant "he". I haven't relistened to that part to verify it, but you might want to before writing them.

But can't you vote in Ron Paul supporters to fill those "uncommitted" delegate slots?

He refers to the 20% of Dems who voted for Reagan's 2nd term. Too bad McCain appeals to them instead of the Republican base. :(

They didn't cheer very loudly when he talked about terrorism. I think Ron Paul will have a very receptive audience this afternoon. :)

I think it all hinges on Ron's speech to CPAC this afternoon.

If only Paul supporters vote in the remaining states, he could do quite well.

Be careful - the other day I read a post here where someone had made a pro-Paul endorsement on this guys website, and he *edited it* to make it pro-Chris Peden. :(
