    To be completely honest, I'm a faker at Russian. I got the quote from my friend who actually is learning right now, so I will discuss it with him. ;) My expertise lies more with German and Latin, hehe. I think it's so cool that you know so much about the language and the country, though.

    Thanks for eloquence compliment. As for Tolstoy, I haven't read any of his material, at all. It's one of those things I've wished to do, but never found the time. From what I understand of his philosophy, I do not think it comports with the Bible, but I really have not read his work, so I cannot judge if the representations I have heard are correct and what he does with seemingly contradictory passages.

    BTW, I intend on eventually learning Russian, so I might be able to read his works in his native tongue some day.

    My generosity has been a little overboard lately :p I donate to the cause du jour fairly often. When I can't go to events, I finance those that can, or come up with fundraising ideas for them to steal. Yay for Bunchies!
