How should I explain Paul's more extreme libertarian positions...

I just want to say thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread. I've been trying to win over my family for 4 years, and have made no progress. With the some of the wonderful posts here, and Voddie Bauchman's "Why Ron Paul," I've made another attempt to appeal to their Christianity. If...

I converted an evangelical! woo hoo

Please share the notes you used. I have two evangelicals (dad and uncle) that were Huckabee supporters, and are currently supporting Gingrich (how do evangelicals support him??!!). They like RP's fiscal conservatism, but not his foreign policy or social issues.

Soliciting Advice on How to Answer Some Questions

I've been a Ron Paul supporter since 2007. My father-in-law has has some questions that I would like to answer. He is an open minded Republican who is finding himself more liberal in his older age. He gets most of his news from CNN, but is very Internet savvy. I can answer a few of his...

Ron Paul Calling For March On Washington!!!!!!

The Date There will never be an ideal date. This is not a Revolution of convenience. My third child, first boy, will be born in late May. If the March coincides, I'll have to wait a few days to meet the boy. See you in D.C.!

    Romney lies about timetable

As if you didn't know about Flip Romney, here is the proof on a timetable for withdrawal. In the debate he emphatically defended that he never supported a timetable. Decide for yourself... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32coCxmt5jo

Vote for Questions in the Debate

All I know is that it appears you can vote once per IP address for the questions that are already presented. Quite a few on the most popular look like questions from RP supporters. Keep voting them!

Romney did no better than Paul

Uneducated voters 40% of Florida McCain voters sited the economy as a reason they voted for him. We're as uneducated as the Michigan voters who sited a negative opinion of the war as one of the reasons they voted for McCain. What I have learned is that the majority of voters are completely...

If all goes to hell....let's screw the Republicans!

I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils. I usually vote third party anyway. It's my way of protesting bi-partisan politics. This year, I'll write in Ron Paul, even if he's not on the balllot.

    Absentee ballot canceled, voted electronically

That is the correct procedure as described to me by our Supervisor of Elections. It was about 3 weeks ago that she had described the procedure exactly as you stated.

    Voting System Issues in Florida

I met with our Supervisor of Elections and there are checks and balances in place to catch those trying to vote twice. There is a window, however, for those that mail or turn in their ballots late (like today or yesterday), where a person could absentee vote and vote at a polling location...

So we all know that Ron Paul will get 5th, right?

This upsets me Acorso, you just spit on all the hard work that all of us have done over the past several days, weeks, and months. It's disgusting to me that you would vote for the lesser of two evils when we have an honest man running. EVERY vote matters for Ron Paul. As much as Ron Paul...

    Palm Beach County Analysis

We had some wonderful volunteers in Martin County who covered the county in signs. Specifically targeted were precinct polling areas and high traffic areas. You can't go very far here without seeing Ron Paul signs.
