Exactly. Consider the freaking source.
TPTB sense trouble and they are going to come after Rand Paul with all they've got, including their tried and true divide-and-conquer techniques. Let's not be divided, nor be conquered.
I got my Gadsden bumper sticker as a cash register impulse buy at a convenience store in northern NH.
Some stores have the usual impulse products at the checkout (candy, jerky, etc.) but this one had Gadsden stickers. It was lovely.
Wonder what the feds would think of the owner of that store.
I agree 100% that local elections are what really matter. Like you, though, I'm sure, I do wish we could finally push someone through toward a position of prominence and influence. I've been waiting all my life here for the kind of "local libertarianism" that has long existed here to finally...
I appreciate all this - really, I do - and I am "one of us," so to speak - but the liberty streak doesn't carry over in NH to the national stage.
It's one thing to jam the State House with us, quite another to fight the old Sununu/Merrill/Bass guard and make it to the other side. Concord is as...
I know, Ron's 22% was glorious. One of my favorite days as a NH native ever, in terms of politics here. I was at several polling places, holding signs and getting in the paper. His speech at the Courtyard is still burned into my brain ("We ARE dangerous...to the status quo of this country!")...
Nah, I'm sure the D's have their usual suspects in waiting. John Lynch is probably on that list, Paul Hodes is probably on that list, Kuster could probably make it to the list.
Honestly, I think the strength of liberty candidates/libertarianism in NH is really overstated. Recent results should...
I don't disagree. I'd love nothing more than to see her get primaried. I'd help promote and fund that person, too.
Problem is, (1) NH Repubs are going to want to back this incumbent with all their might because they have lost every other major office in this state. She is the last one standing...
Love this.
Kelly rode the "Palin MILF" wave. I'm not even trying to be crude, or funny - it's true. She certainly never was "Tea Party" in my eyes; maybe I missed something, but I live here and follow closely. She has always been the "former AG, tough on crime, I love cops" candidate - statist...
Tell him if he sees you as such a "problem" to not bother asking you for food, shelter, and warmth when the shit hits the fan thanks to the entitlement-induced economic collapse.
We don't have an adult seatbelt law here. Yet.
That's what I actually came in here to add: if you guys think Warren is bad you should start paying attention to the new NH winners, especially the loony Carol Shea Porter. I guarantee some excellent yuks in here the next 2 years.
