Fed May Not Want It's Cash Loans Back

Fed may not want its cash loans back any more than governments want their gold loans back The Federal Reserve's ever-increasing "short-term" lending to major commercial and investment banks, described in the news report appended here, is starting to recall the boast of Barrick Gold a few years...

Why Ron Paul Scares the GOP - Time : Nice piece

Could someone explain what the term "black-helicopter paranoiac" means? It is good that Time still finds Ron Paul important enough to write but I wouldn't call the article a "nice piece" as it contains the usual pejorative spin and some inaccuracies as pointed out by others.

    M3 growth at 16%!!

It is very important that everyone understands the implications of this new report from John William's Shadow Government statistics. Growth in M3, the broadest money supply figure, is calculated at 16% by John William's organisation that does it's own calculations for economic statistics...

    Scenarios please

If we have an economic contraction as severe as in the 30's things won't be the same as then. Fewer families are involved in agriculture these days and we are dependent on highly evolved systems to deliver us our goods and food stuffs. Food will become very expensive. Chinese meat consumption...

The **official** campaign has failed... it time for new tactics

Just a quick thought as I have some other things on. I tried becoming active in the Republican party previously but found that too many people in the party were either one issue oriented or were on the sleeve born again Christians - I just didn't fit in and I would never try again. I just...

The **official** campaign has failed... it time for new tactics

If campaign is disbanded, movement is over. The official campaign has been a disaster. Advertising, press relations, volunteer coordination and education - all bush league. Nonetheless Ron Paul is the one who brought us all together with his message of Peace, Freedom, Liberty, and Prosperity...

How on earth can gov't pay off bonds?

So much US debt is held overseas these days that much of the interest paid is stimulating other economies ie China, Dubai, Saudi Arabia etc. Ditto for the frigging tax rebate people will receive in April. Much of it will find its way to foreign economies for imported oil and toys.

    Commercial Advertising RNC March

I like it, but I'm no expert. Need some comments from talented people in the communications industry. Maybe you should post this at Grass Roots Central?

youtube's pull Aimee's video from the most discussed page?

just commented again myself. It would be nice if the counter on the utube pages would show daily and weekly counts as well as a cumulative total. The way it only shows a cumulative total makes it impossible to objectively decide if the honors are accurate or not.

How on earth can gov't pay off bonds?

If the US government were to default on their bonds no one would buy new ones so the Congress would be forced to take an axe to the budget. The US might not be that far away from where the market will start demanding higher interest rates on US government bonds for the risk they entail. The...
