The war. Not just the young and independents, lots of people don't want America to be seen as having lost this Iraq war. The loss of prestige and the resulting hurt to ego ...... when Bush reminds people of Vietnam, he is saying, "Remember, the loss of prestige after retreating from Vietnam?"

From what I see of Nevada's result - one of the reasons RP did quite well was because the ones he beat didn't have money/resources to win there. Not all candidates have the money or resources to compete in all of Feb 5 states. So they won't be drumming up their propaganda all over and fooling...

UPBEAT :) You shoulda been around during the nevada count reporting. RP and McCain were so close, it was a nail-baiter for a couple of hours Lotsa people went off partying after nevada results I guess. IMO, the nevada results were what were exactly needed for the money-bomb motivation.
