I'm the first to agree that the civil confiscation laws are totally insane; but, there's something a little fishy about that story....... I'm not so sure the homeowners are as "innocent" as the author of the article would lead you to believe.
It seems to me that a smart, liberty-minded spokesman, lobbying on behalf of individual ownership 2nd Amendment rights, could use this opportunity to point out some other transgressions of our liberties of late while the SC is hearing this case and get some national press out of the situation...
Wow. Obviously a tremendous amount of hard work went into the production. The graphics and effects are truly stunning.
That being said, as a political campaign commercial reaching the general public (as opposed to the young, video game-playing crowd), I think it has the potential for...
I saw that too. It was fascinating to me to see someone from within the news agencies admit that a relatively small group of vocal supporters (in this case Hillary and/or Obama supporters) can spook the MSM enough to get them to alter their policies. Maybe that's what it takes to get them to...

Obviously, there are many in TX-14 that think he'd make a better returning congressman for their district than a president. Then again, it could be that a large percentage of those voters didn't even realize that the Ron Paul for president and the Ron Paul for TX-14 was the same guy!
After reading that portion of the article in question, is would appear that RP's claims are a clear distortion of the scope and content of the article. While he's certainly not the first politician to take some liberties with the context of a citation, it is rather disappointing to see.
Even...
