i just called a local coin shop and asked what over spot he normaly charged. he said 10% and that did include tax. not sure if thats good or not.

another question. looking at gold prices back in 2001 was about $200+ for an oz. now $900+ for an oz. would it be wise to wait to see if it came down, or considering the shape of our economy maybe its not coming down and could be $1800 an oz in 10 years?

makes sense. i just called a local coin shop and the smallest gold eagle is like $90 (gold) then $16 (there markup) then tax. im guessing that is the 1/10, but im not sure. wonder if it wouldnt be better to buy silver now sinse its not as high?
