    The Realist Party

Sounds good to me. I'm tired of political infighting, and our values no longer reflect anything approximating reality. Our elites are manipulating those false values to make us approve of what they do, which is to give a little bit to charity and take a lot! Most people are saturated in Big...

No US defense shields for Poles and Czechs

Lose! The one strategy for containing the Russians now goes out the window. This means more threats in the future.

    The Decline of Liberalism?

Yes, that's what I assumed he was referring to: One leads to the other. You don't want a hierarchy in charge? Fine, stress individual freedom -- but then don't get surprised when the individual becomes more important than the collective, his or her needs become absolute, and you get Social...

63% of Americans under 30 agree with "spreading the wealth"

And that's why powerful nations decay into third-world ones.

    The Decline of Liberalism?

I think it naturally expands to that. Argue from better direction for the state = you gain control of power. Fear power, argue from independence for individuals = deconstruction without end.

    The Decline of Liberalism?

While this article focuses on civil law, more than that is crumbling. Liberal economics is slowly being shown wrong. Science is disproving many liberal (and some conservative fundamentalist) ideas about reality and genetics. The liberal idea of big governments representing everyone with a...

Books: Once a Warrior King, by David Donovan

This book, a memoir of an officer in Vietnam, really opened my eyes. It's about reality and how to make it work, and why you should give a darn about moral concerns. I wouldn't say it's conservative, more just realist, and it is very quiet about political opinions -- instead, it just offers a...

63% of Americans under 30 agree with "spreading the wealth"

People reach maturity at age 35 these days, where they would have been there at 18 or 21 in the past. Give it time... also, people under 30 don't own homes or have any money, with a few exceptions. Of course they want the wealth spread.
