    I think most of the Democrats are in the larger towns and cities, like Newark, Camden, Jersey City, etc. Most of the northern suburbs are strong republican leaning areas.

    NJ overall leans towards Obama, but there are a lot of republicans here in certain places too. I live in a heavily republican district - there's got to be at least 10 McLame signs for every obama sign around here.
