ZERO FREEDOM: “Zero COVID" Australians To JAIL Jail For Shopping Without Vaccine Passport

Title truncated as usual...

ZERO FREEDOM: “Zero COVID” strategy will see Australians lose freedoms, face jail time for entering shops without a vaccine passport
https://www.naturalnews.com/2021-09-29-zero-covid-australians-lose-freedoms-vaccine.html

(Natural News) Australia’s new zero COVID strategy is being used by the government to restrict people’s participation in society, and leaders of the state of New South Wales announced in a press briefing this week that unvaccinated people are going to lose their freedoms next month.

In the announcement of updated COVID protocols they’re calling a “blueprint for freedom,” NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced that residents who are vaccinated can enjoy a list of “extra freedoms” when the state reaches an 80 percent vaccination rate.

The state, which is home to Australia’s most populous city, Sydney, had already set a 70 percent threshold goal that would open up certain freedoms to people who are vaccinated. These include the ability to have up to five visitors in a person’s own home as long as all the adults there are vaccinated and up to 20 people in outdoor gatherings. Those who get vaccinated will be able to attend weddings and funerals of up to 50 guests, but eating and drinking may only take place there while seated. They will also be allowed to attend churches and places of worship, but singing will not be allowed. In addition, those who are vaccinated will be allowed to go to hospitality venues and retail stores as well as personal services such as hair salons, gyms, indoor recreation facilities and sporting facilities. However, all of this must be done while wearing a mask.

The list of updated “freedoms” that are being granted when they reach the 80 percent mark will include the ability to travel freely anywhere within the NSW state, allowing up to 10 visitors in a private residence, no limits on attendance of funerals and weddings, the ability to stand up and drink at bars, and gatherings of up to 20 people outdoors.

When these restrictions come into effect on October 11 for the state of NSW, unvaccinated people will not only lose access to “new” freedoms tied to the reopening, but they will also lose some freedoms that they are currently enjoying, particularly those in areas of regional and rural NSW that are currently already open.

Deputy Premier John Barilaro said: “So there will be individuals in regional and rural New South Wales who choose not to be vaccinated who will lose their freedoms on the 11th of October.”

Berejiklian said that people who do not get vaccinated will be barred entry to restaurants, entertainment venues and shops even after the state has lifted all restrictions pertaining to them in December. She said: “Life for the unvaccinated will be very difficult indefinitely.”

Jail time a possibility for those who do not produce vaccine passports

Unvaccinated residents of NSW who try to enter businesses without the required vaccine passports have been warned that they could face jail time for their actions. Leaders have said that the policing of vaccine passports should not be up to businesses; instead, the focus should be on individual compliance.

He told the media: “If people want to do the wrong thing, if they get found out, as I said, it could be jail time there.”

Some business owners have expressed concerns that employees could be attacked by people who are denied access to their shops over the new rules and are worried about the economic impact of excluding some members of society from the reopening.

The current Delta variant outbreaks being seen in some parts of Australia have divided leaders of its states and territories. Some leaders in relatively virus-free areas of the country have indicated they will defy federal plans to reopen internal borders when the adult population reaches 80 percent full vaccination, which is expected in November.

#1 - You have to be ALIVE to be able to shop
#2 - Think this wont happen here? (Shut up, TheCount, we know you are a troll)

What a surprise. Know what else I predicted? You would immediately be in here TROLLING as the VERY FIRST POST.

Why exactly are you here? Is it your intent to undermine the ideas we have here? Every action you take seems to be THE OPPOSITE OF FREEDOM.

I swear that WHEN TYRANNY comes here, and there are people running around actually putting guns in peoples faces if they do not permit a needle shoved in their arm YOU WOULD NOT CALL THAT TYRANNY. And I guess what is going on in Austraila doesnt affect us here? It could NEVER happen here? Are you one of the people that will put a gun to a persons face and tell them TAKE THIS SHOT OR TAKE THIS SHOT?

I really think it is time for you to leave this forum permanently, ZIPPY TROLL.

His new "style" is interesting. Nope-a-dope.

Works if you're being paid per post.

The scary thing is how many Australians are okay with this! At least, if you go by the Australia subreddit (and Reddit is a hellhole of overzealous moderators, ready to ban anyone who doesn't tow the narrative), it would seem that way. Kudos to the protestors, but they gave up their right to arm themselves and fight for their human rights long ago.

I've been opposed to pretty much every ban so far on this forum. (including Zippy)

I would not be opposed to TheCount being banned.

Yup, with so much censoring going on these days, who the fuck knows what people are really thinking.

Yes, please ban TheCount because I too love intellectual safe spaces free from opposing opinions and reality checks. Orange man good!

I do wonder why people like him do not choose to leave voluntarily. He does not agree with most of the people on any view at any given time. So its one of two things, he is a Sociopath who enjoys being disruptive (there are people like that), or he is getting paid to be a troll. We know part of their Psy Op campaign is to pay people to basically do nothing but be disruptive. His behavior, just like Zippy, is not normal. You and I get along on a lot of things. A few things we dont. That is a normal relationship. People like Zippy and The Count express behaviors that shows more that they are paid to disagree with what ever the majority says on EVERY topic. That is abnormal and a RED FLAG that they are Paid Shills.

I do not like bans either. However, if the govt thinks everyone who does not express the point of view they have been assigned that they should be silenced. Favoring actual Freedom and Free Speech over authoritarian responses, what can be done to convince assholes like The Count to CHOOSE to leave our community without a ban?

A lot of what I've seen TheCount do is correct blatantly wrong information. So if reality is a minority opinion, maybe the response should be to introspect a bit more, rather than seeking comfort in the majority.

I'm curious what you consider a productive post from him. I don't suppose you have an example?

Zippy definitely seemed to lack a general reason for being here, except to disagree with people. Same with TheCount.

The difference between Zippy and TheCount however is that Zippy put forth noticeable effort in his disagreements. Especially anything related to the Fed he would provide facts, sources, etc. Some of it was actually useful.

Actually that's not usually been true. I think that I've been rather consistent in my opinions over time. What has changed is the prevailing opinion of the forum...

Sometime in 2015, people began hating on me because I did not go along with Orange Man Good, the surge of Stormfronters and "racialist" politics on the forum during 2015-2016, etc.

Somewhere around 2018 people realized that Orange Man was, in fact, pretty bad, and the hate eased off except for the die-hard Trumpkins.

Now I'm not going along with Vaccines Kill Ten Million Babies per Second, or any of the related prevailing opinions, and there's more hate, including from some people with whom I've generally agreed the whole time I've been on the forum.

I'm fine with that. I don't feel any particular need to go along with the crowd, never have and never will. I'm not here to belong to a clique or culture, nor for acceptance. If people hate what I post, they hate what I post. If they like what I post, they like what I post. If I'm banned, I'm banned. It's not of any concern to me.

^This. Seems like another thread where there is anger at someone for not repeating conditioned team talking points like a trained seal.

But I do not discount DamianTV saying that people sometimes could be paid here. I know for a fact a few people - the so called good guys in this forum were paid some years back for certain behaviors.
