'Productive' phone call with Trump focused on ending war, sanctions, drone production, Zelensky says
President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine has already prepared a draft agreement on drones and is ready to finalize what he called "one of the strongest agreements this could be."
Zelensky said the Trump phone call was productive and includes a new drone deal plus further expanding defense cooperation with the United States.
The drone deal is already drafted. He also says Trump told him that sanctions against all countries buying Russian oil, gas, and other exports will go into effect after August 8th.
