I dont know tbh. THe question was "if this happened again in the future what would your response be?"

Ron said " I'd urge caution because these situations have resulted in full scale war in the past ie. the Gulf of Tonkin , due to misinformation and an urgency to go to war" . He then went on to make a more general point about the warmongering over this issue etc . (paraphrasing)

I dont see why the moderator jumped on him like Ron was calling his mum a crackhead whore :confused: . Ron answered the damn question straight away .... and is it unusual for a candidate to broaden out his answer?? geez , Rudy does every single time and the others just ignore questions.

Pretty obvious all night that they were sent out to dismantle Ron at every opportunity. I mean, they didnt even allow him to answer Shit Romney back for basically calling him a traitor when he said he listens to much to Ahmadinejad .
 
Ron totally lays the smackdown in videos 2 and 5. I do hate how they laugh at him and chuckle at about every question. RP did screw up on that one question where he couldn't hear the question.

But seriously, RON PAUL, next time they laugh at you or issues like 9/11 or the war, just ask them what is so damn funny.

I could not believe that McCain made a joke at 9/11's expense about his interpretation of RP's policy, saying that we can't be friends with people who are only interested in a one-way ticket. How can you joke about that? He just sits there smiling like an idiot.
 
Thanks for the vids. RP on electability is incredible. Highly enlightening to the American people. One of the best I've seen.
 
i have watched the Electability video a zillion times now.... damn he laid the hammer
 
I just got back from canvasing / caucus training here in Las Vegas and watched these videos (unfortunately missed the debate being at the training). Aside from the little goof up where he couldn't hear what was being said at one point (which was just the moderator messing with him, Dr. Paul was doing well on that one before he was set off balance briefly by those comments), I think he nailed every one of those questions. I was cheering by the end of each video. Very impressive.

He had a lot of fight in him during this debate and the crowd was responsive as well.
 
Ron is 10 times smarter than I ever gave him credit for.

McCain is jello. He's the easiest target because he's so arrogant.
Romney is a close 2nd, because he's a filp flopper.
Giuliani is a close 3rd because he's a freakin liberal anyway.
Huckabee ain't much tougher either, because of his liberal views on immigration.
Thompson is the only candidate I think Ron would struggle to beat.

Fortunately, Thompson is a lazy fock and is broke anyway, so it won't really matter.

You couldn't ask for a better crop of losers for the R's to weed out.
When the next 1 or 2 candidate drop out (my guess is Thompson and then Giuliani), Ron will drop the gloves and absolutely RIP a new Ahole out of BOTH Romney and Suckabee.

It's a slam dunk....

And I don't buy exactly that he goofed up on the one question about the Iranian speed boats.

The TRUTH of the matter is that every other focker on that stage supports the idea of pre-emptively invading or pre-emptively attacking Iran, so wft really cares if they soft peddled on one question about some little dingy inflatable rafts.

Have you actually HEARD the audio the Navy tried to CLAIM were radio transmissions from those craft? lol I'll eat my shoe if those recording were genuine and authentic Iranian transmissions, and now we find out today that the Navy admits weeelllll it MIGHT not have come from those craft. Yeah really? What a effin surprise - I'm totally SHOCKED - not. they had to admit it cuz it was so obviously fake, and no I'm not talking some huge conspiracy here, but PR is PR and that was lousy and laughably obvious lying PR to make the Navy initially look good over the incident, but it had uhmmm....blowback?

Anyway....thanks for the summary videos, this debate rocked for Paul!
