Dr. Paul should start issuing statements outlining how he would implement
his ideas. Some type of regular/ weekly press announcement could highlight his long and uncompromising stance and his record. It could include statements he has
made and show that he has been consistent and right over the years.
Many people hear him say how he would get rid of the IRS, but unless you watch and read hours of literature it is hard for many to see the bigger picture.
These are some of the things that I think would serve him well.
1) The Conspiracy theory - with access to open records these could easily be dispelled. Why does the Govt. hide these things. Put details on NAFTA, WTO, etc...
2) How would someone leave Iraq AND make our country safe - a lot of people can not see the vision (from sound bites) or would like to hear the details.
3) Details on Social Security - How the transition would work and reassurance that they won't get cut off. Along with the fact he says the military dictators and 3rd world countries get the real money.
4) Who would he consider for positions in his administration.
5) His long record on monetary matters and how he has been right about
the consequences. What about the gold at Ft. Knox?
This post is by know means meant to portray his exact position on these issues.
I'm sure there are many unforeseen things that may happen and could and should be used for talking points to keep the campaign in the news and heard.
