With eye on 2016, Jeb Bush resigns from all boards

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush, moving closer to a possible presidential run, has resigned all of his corporate and nonprofit board memberships, including with his own education foundation, his office said late Wednesday night.

He also resigned as a paid adviser to a for-profit education company that sells online courses to public university students in exchange for a share of their tuition payments.

Bush’s New Year’s Eve disclosure, coming in an e-mail from an aide to The Washingotn Post, culminated a string of moves he has made in recent days to shed business interests that have enriched him since leaving office in 2007. The aide said the resignations had been made “effective today.”

Yep, Wall $t. and the Chickenhawks are too scared to back anyone else. They're sticking with what they know - Bush Family Corruption. Ah well, I get to write in Ron Paul again, while President Hillary presides over the next 8 years of American decline. I just hope Medicare stays until President Chelsea's inauguration, because I want my euthanasia to be taxpayer-funded.

Que?

We? I wasn't aware that we were democratic voters.

I am an independent voter. I would have no issue with voting "D" if there was a candidate to vote for.

I have voted for "R" many times,, and been severely disappointed each and every time.

I will not be voting for Bush,, or Clinton.

Very bad news. While Bush has a better voting record than his brother or father, his last name alone is likely enough to cost him the general election. Plus his support of common core and gun control are enough to keep me away.

Don't forget Amnesty for Illegals. And Nationalized Biometric ID.

Did he resign from the CFR too,, or are they just going to whitewash that?

America is Very Democratic lets spread the same system to Syria, Libya, Iraq, Russia, the Balkans oh wait...

Woot. America is a piece of shit that will elect other piece of shit... I think I agree with the rest of you guys that if Rand is not successful, it will be Hillary vs Bush.

Is he a member of Skull and Bones like his brother, dad, and granddad?

Florida has been super important in the General Election, so I'm guessing the GOP sees Jeb as the best choice to more easily win Florida, without having to spend tons of cash in it?

If so, I can see him potentially winning in 2016, and Hillary running AGAIN in 2020 and winning.
