I meant more along the lines of: I didn't exactly see this person whose post you linked to suffering in the streets during the Egyptian protests. Do we have any proof the person in your image link was Egyptian? For all we know, it could have been a random 15-year-old kid who has lived in America all his life and thus had absolutely nothing to do with these protests. It just seemed to me like the person was taking the credit for an event that was sparked within Egypt itself and was due to the efforts of Egyptian citizens.

My main issue with that post is that it mentions the events in Egypt as even being remotely similar to the events in Wisconsin. I'm sort of ambivalent about the Wisconsin protests because I haven't paid any attention to them. Labor disputes are not really interesting to me, although I will acknowledge that they are important.

Socialism is a much easier sell when government coffers are overflowing from the proceeds skimmed off a booming free market. Much harder to bring about when government can't pay for the crappy programs already in place because it has already ruined the economy.
