I would like to see an official, permanent place for people to log in and say who they are and what they believe in. Something like what is going on at dailypaul. I scrolled through the lengthy list the other day and really felt a warmth, a feeling of hope and even a kinship with the diverse group of "NORMAL" (what is normal?
) people that have done this at dailypaul.
Items included by some posters: full name, area of country from, race, sex, marital statis, # of children, # of grandchildren, credentials, brief work history, their political beliefs (origins and development.) Not that all of those details would be required, of course, just that they are interesting points about people as a whole if they choose to divulge. It does humanize the poster as not just another tinfoil wearing spammer.
The posters have, as a rule, written a short history of their political awakening and why Ron Paul appeals to them. I think that is the most important item.
This would be a great way to display the diversity of the people that support our candidate. I know that the campaign lists the contributors to the campaign daily, but it seems that the MSM does not care to investigate the thousands, hopefully millions, of people that will donate, or have donated. They just want to point out any individual or group that will splash the headlines. This would be a positive place, a reaffirmation of sorts of who we are and what we want.
I know that Dr. Paul is above all this and that he knows that the vast majority of his supporters want just what he wants.
