Hello, I was encouraged to create this thread by a fellow forum member...

As I'm sure most of you know, I have travelled across the entire country taking photos of both Ron and Rand, from Arizona to DC, from Indiana to Mississippi, I have thoroughly enjoyed taking photos of the Pauls. As such, I have always made do with my camera equipment, and have always been complimented on my equipment.

But lately I have been considering upgrading even further, in order to provide even better photos for you all; hopefully sharper and crisper than ever before.

With this in mind, I have started a ChipIn with the hopes that a couple people with some money, unlike me, would be able to help me out in buying a new lens for my camera. Here is the link for those willing to help me out: http://cpacrpf.chipin.com/camera-lens-please-help

The lens isn't cheap, unfortunately, (and I can link you to the lens for anyone interested) but even $10, $20, or even $100 would add up tremendously quick, and I can finally be able to fulfill my dream of having the ultimate lens...which I have dreamed about for years. I'd like to thank you all for continuing to enjoy my photos, and making these cross-country trips worth it, and possible.

Not only does Gage take photos of the Pauls but he has also captured some of our own forum members in action. Gage's photos are absolutely incredible and many of them could find their way into campaign promotional materials and grassroots videos and pamphlets. If you can spare anything (and I know times are tough and there are a lot of hands out right now with campaign season underway) please do so as it is helping a long time forum member, a dedicated activist and a good friend to many of us on these forums and in the liberty community as a whole.

It's a Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS lens. And I use a Canon EOS 50D.

More detail on the lens... I have a few laying around here - some serious telephoto and some night vision attachments... Some need adapters... I'd have to check...

Think mine might be more like 4-600x....

Not sure I wanna give um up. They are kinda set up for weatherproof monitoring.... Like an optical condom. Are we talking a 12-14" lens?

EOS sounds like compatible stuff...
